Display Content Authors in Panorama custom dashboard / catalog design

It was called to my attention by a client that they were able to see the “Author” field in the content catalog on a custom Panorama Dashboard even though the Display Content Authors slider was turned off. The default is to display the Grid View (where Author field is not shown), but when a learner switched to List View, the Author field appeared.

I was just wondering if that is by design or if it’s a bug? It’s a custom dashboard using the catalog widget. I thought before I tried a support ticket, I’d just see if anyone else had noticed this or if it’s acting as expected?

Hey @KSchneider

I’m checking internally before sharing a recommendation on next steps. Could you share the specific Pano and a content object where the content author is displaying but should not be?

Many thanks!

Thanks, Jeanne,

The panorama is “BARR” and a content item for example is “I’m That Too!” Session 21, U-Time, Volume 3, Grades 3-5 and that same title for Grades K-2. I am attaching some screen shots.

Thanks @KSchneider

After reviewing internally, this seems strange and should be handled by support. I started a ticket for you with all the information shared. It is 75938.

We’ll keep monitoring together, thanks, Kate!
