Hi Everyone!

We are looking for a way to easily assign downloadable content to individual learners.

We have tried articles but it doesn’t look great at all when trying to use it just for the file download.

For Instructional videos, we are able to use the video content type.

For Downloadable PDFs we are able to use a micro course with a PDF viewer with download enabled.

We have yet to figure out how to share a downloadable excel file or similar items.

Does anyone have any experience in trying to do this? What did you find works the best?

You can add an excel doc or others to the course file section of resource library in a course.

Yeah, we played with that but we didn’t have enough supporting material to make the page look good to make sure they knew to click on the resources panel.

We ended up using a custom html page inside a one-page mini course that will automatically download the excel sheet.
