To provide financial flexibility to engine technicians to take a certification learning path, but pay for the optional Virtual events that are appropriate or as they have the necessary funds, thus providing every opportunity to getting certified and removing additional financial burden. 

The Certification learning path is an intensive course of content focussed on ensuring engineers are suitably qualified to safely work on complex engines. The learning path consists of a large number of required self paced courses and optional webinars. The wbinars are a paid optional extra for those technicians, who may need more support over and above the self paced courses, to help prepare them for the certification exam.

• Quizzes (Consists of 150 questions, with a required passing score of 80%)

The Learning Path is only available to technicians who have a paid subscription to content. To access the subscription content the technicians are added to a panorama. The learning path with the self paced and event content is configured as a “Pay As You Go” model so the first piece of content is free and the engineers need to purchase each additional content item.

In this case the self paced content in the Learning path is provisioned to the panorama so the engineers do not need to pay for it, however the events are not provisioned to the panorama, so need to be purchased.
As the events are marked as elective they are not required for the engineer to progress to the next milestone, thus giving the engineers the flexibility to purchase any or all of the optional events in preparation for the exam.
