👋 Hi Community – I’m Sammie Valladao!I’m the Manager of Customer Education here at Thought Industries. I’ve been with the team since 2019, starting out in Support before jumping into Customer Education—and I love helping our customers succeed on the platform. I’m all about creating useful resources to make your learning experience easier (and hopefully a little more fun!). I also geek out over building processes and finding ways to make things better—there’s always room for improvement, right?I live in Knoxville, Tennessee, with my husband and our energetic toddler, who keeps life entertaining. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me tackling house projects, playing sports, or chasing after my kiddo. Hi everyone,I'm Ashley Young and I am beyond excited to be a Project Manager at Thought Industries on the Professional Services team. I was first introduced to TI as a client in 2019 and joined the Thought Industries team in 2024, allowing me to continue my passion for project management while staying customer-centric.Outside of work, I spend most of my time supporting my bonus kid in all of her endeavors to live a full life as a soon-to-be college student. My husband and I, along with the kiddo, reside in South Carolina, and we have 3 fur babies and adore traveling, live theatre, and sports. In my free time I love to cook, dance, sing, and spend time with friends. I look forward to engaging with many of you through the community as you strive to continue growing and utilizing our incredible Professional Services team! 

Hi everyone, I’m Morgen, the Director Implementation at Thought Industries. I worked at TI in the early years of 2013 onboarding some of our very first clients. I took time away to have a family and came back in 2020. It’s been incredible to see how the company has grown, matured and transformed! I truly enjoy building relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and finding solutions. I’ve worked with so many of you and learned from each of you!When I’m not cooking up solutions for you all, you’ll usually find me curled up with a book and my kitty, watching sitcoms with my husband and kids or in my garden!I’m looking forward to engaging more with the community and seeing how you all continue to thrive after you’ve left Professional Services!  

Hi everyone,Mike Dean Senior Platform Consultant here at Thought Industries.  I have been with the Professional Services team here since 2018, and had met the team long before that.  I have probably worked with most of you at some point in your onboarding journey with us, especially if you were doing something interesting when it comes to e-commerce or single-sign-on.  Nice to hear from you all again!When I am not here (which does occasionally happen), my child is usually convincing me to coach some kind of sport.  Some day you will find me no longer on the sidelines and getting to enjoy watching. Looking forward to re-engaging with you in the community! 

Hi everyone,I’m passionate about all things education and customer success and I have been where you are - implementing Ti as a customer. I’m really happy to be part of the Ti family now as an Implementation Consultant. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with other Ti customers as we work together on launching new learning experiences for all of you. I’ve worn many engineering and educational technology hats over 3 decades — from software developer to product manager and even middle school teacher. At Ti, I can combine all of that together enabling me to help customers on the full range of requirements - simple configurations to talking through more complex integrations. I live outside of Austin, Texas but dream of living in the mountains somewhere eventually. Hi everyone,I’m Sara Hatch and I’m a Technical Consultant at Thought Industries. I’ve been with Thought Industries for 5 years and I love solving complex problems. If you’ve put in Support tickets before then you’ve probably spoken to me! I love working at TI and helping customers get the most out of our platform. I live in Massachusetts with my wife with whom I share a love of food, movies, and conversations about astrophysics. In my free time, I spend time knitting and I host a weekly crafting night online with my best friend. I’m a tireless, sometimes heartbroken, supporter of Tottenham Hotspur FC based in London and I follow lots of other sports. I love history and trivia and don’t get me started on something that you don’t want to hear all the facts I know about. I’m looking forward to engaging with our community to discuss all the fun features of the platform that you might not know about!

I joined Thought Industries in 2023 and love solving problems and helping our customers leverage our product to achieve their goals.I live in Dublin (Ireland) with my partner and daughter. In my spare time, I love studying foreign languages, playing poker and planning the next foreign holiday. I grew up in Mayo in the west of Ireland, and so I also passionately follow the Mayo (Gaelic) football team. Hi, I’m Alexandra, a Project Manager on the Professional Services team here at Thought Industries. I’ve been in this role since 2024, but my journey with TI began in 2022, leading migrations from other LMS platforms to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for clients.I'm based in Porto, Portugal, very close to the sea. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and exploring trails, and I've recently discovered the fun of orienteering city races. I also love playing board games—though I have to admit, I really dislike losing!I'm looking forward to interact with you all!

Hi everyone,I’m Alex, a Software Developer and Technical Consultant here at Thought Industries. I work within the Technical Investigations team, focusing on complex technical issues.Based in Dublin, I’ve been part of Thought Industries since 2022. I spent my first few years as a developer before transitioning into a technical consulting role to better support our customers’ needs.I specialize in the development, maintenance, and implementation of Thought Industries’ Helium product. What I enjoy most about my work is breaking down complex technologies and implementations into simple, clear terms that both technical and non-technical teams can understand.I look forward to collaborating with you on your next big idea! 

As the Senior Customer Education Manager for NuORDER by Lightspeed, I help retail and wholesale brands adopt our platform with minimal friction. Through strategic education initiatives, I ensure that every stakeholder—from IT to Operations—gains the knowledge and tools needed to maximize NuORDER’s value. Both internally with our Level Up series and externally with our Customer Education program.By leveraging AI-driven automation and subject matter expertise, I help streamline the content development process and with Thought Industries making up the foundation of our technology stack we’ve been able to offer customers a unique and effective experience.On my downtime I am an avid adventure motorcyclist who is fond of sleeping under the stars and exploring this great country of ours one night at a time.

I’ve been here since 2019 and since then I have worked with our Professional Services, Product, and our Technical Support teams—it’s definitely safe to say I love working here! 😆 Some days you may find me in your Support tickets, responding to your Community posts, or engaging with you in an email, other days you may not directly interact with me but chances are I may have been a part of a solutioning conversation pertaining to you!When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me at the beach, reading a book, cooking, or likely doing something that engages my parasympathetic nervous system because I enjoy my peace. I’m generally a calm and collected person who focuses on (and enjoys) finding solutions, relaxation, and not taking things too seriously.I’m looking forward to helping you where and when I can!

Though I’m new to TI, I’m not new to Customer Success building on 5 years in SaaS - CS enterprise and 15 years professional experience of cultivating powerful partnerships between customers and organizations while leveraging cross-functional strategies to facilitate enablement and advocacy avenues. I live outside of Boston in a small town called Harvard (not the University 😉). I love the countryside surrounded by nature, wildlife, mountains and quiet. So I look forward to sharing ideas and collaborating with you all here in the community.I have a keen interest in emerging learning technologies (especially AI) and how it is becoming a positive disruptor in the ed Tech space.
