I was able to replace a previous version of our certificate of completion, however, 2 labels are not pulling over: degree(s) and completion date

Here is the template (I know name is not centered yet):

When viewing the certificate from a test account:

Hi @tduke

I had a quick look at this and the field that you have chosen to show on the Certificate Completion date.

I looked at your activity tab and it appears that the course in question is not yet complete as there is a status of “Started” see below. This may not be the issue but to rule it out, could you please complete the course so there is a “Content Completion Date” stamped and see then if this date displays on the certificate.

If this does not work then I will transfer this to our technical support team.

Warmest regards

Jon

@jon_synnott I marked the course complete and the awarded date does not pull over into the certificate

Hi @tduke

I am going to forward this to our Tech Support team to review and see if there is something else missing that i cannot identify.

The support ticket number is : 71221

I will monitor this and hopefully we will get an update soon/

best

Jon

@tduke Don’t say you had folks complete under one cert and then deleted that cert?  What you would want to do is EDIT the current cert.  If you deleted the cert, you have a ghost set of rules running alongside a new set of variables if they take it again, or worse if you have to grant the cert to them.  On a report you can no longer just ask for cert issued date because that date is user completion and you will need to include the status, manager_grant_cert or something similar.  Just know to NEVER delete a cert because the cert goes but the renewal and such things will stay.  Hope this helps.

Since you manual marked her complete you now have to issue her the cert date.  Date of completion is also a user action.  You manually intervened so now you must continue the manual you started.
