Hello community! I am pretty new to Thought Industries and I am working on setting up a Panorama for our company. (We haven’t added any learners to the Panorama just yet.)

Sometimes I feel nervous about really understanding what the experience will be like for our learners when they SSO into whichever sublicense they are assigned to and I want to test their experience so that I can feel confident before we open the doors to learners.

I have used the “Impersonate This User” feature on a test user that I set up and added to one of my sublicenses and I’m wondering if this is the best way to test the experience or if any of you have any recommendations on other things I should do to test the setup? Do you have any other advice for someone new who is setting up a Panorama for the first time?

Hi Claire - I struggled with this immensely with this. We have several Pano’s and I always want to check and see what the client is going to see.

You would need to create a Client Admin role. Click to add a user, fill out first, last name and make up an email address > add the Pano you need

From a completely different browser (Firefox for me), type >https://ilearn.panoname.com/learn/internal_sign_in

Enter the credentials you created from the Client Admin role.

Hopefully this is what you need! Regards, Micki

Hi @claire.frank ,

We use the test user approach as you have and find that to be the best way to experience the system as a learner would. Then, as an admin, we use an incognito window and sign into the platform using the test user credentials.

This allows us to make changes as an admin, hop to the learner window, refresh, and experience the changes.

Hope this helps build confidence in your approach,

Julie

Thank you both so much for your responses to my question! 🤗
