Does TI comply with FERPA requirements for schools and youth data?

Best answer by Thought Industries

Hi @Alexis McLaughlin

I reached out to infosec and was informed that FERPA is a requirement our customer’s would be subject to vs us. As a service provider, we ensure the security and confidentiality of the data our customer’s process through our services but the requirements for meeting FERPA (Family Education Rights and Privacy Act) belong to our customers.  That said, we can confidentialy say we enable and support our customers to meet their obligations under FERPA - but is not applicable to say that , “we are FERPA compliant”.

Please let me know if you require any further clarification.

Warmest regards

Jon
