We are using sublicenses in our panorama, but only have a few pieces of content that are unique to each sublicense. We want to highlight these items in a catalog widget. Right now the only way I can see to do this is by creating a separate dashboard for each sublicense.

However, 99% of the content on the dashboard remains shared with the main panorama dashboard, and if in the future we need to update any part of that shared content, we’ll have to replicate the edits across any custom sublicense dashboards.

Is there a way to use the custom HTML or script section on the dashboard to write code that lets us target HTML to only show to specific sublicenses? Clearly the TI platform does this, but I’m wondering if there are variables or such we can find and use to do this as well ourselves.

Hi @sue826

If I understand correctly what you are are trying to do is to have identified pieces of content which are specific to a sublicense stand out above all other content that is available to the learners in the panorama.

I am sure there are nuances that I be missing but I have two suggestions which may help, and not need you to go down the HTML route.

  1. Create a featured content widget and populat this based on a dedicated tag “SL Specific” or similar, so this Featured content widget can sit above the main catalog to highlight the content.
  2. Alternatively you could use Ribbons for the Specific Content, as the ribbon promotes them to the top of the Catalog.

Both of these options depend on a certain piece of content being specific to one Sublicense and not appearing in another Sublicense.

See some resources below

No, you understood it correctly. Both solutions are interesting and might work. I’ll read up on those links you sent. Thanks for the info!
