We would like to link directly to the milestone on a learning path page, eg. from the description at the top of the learning path so it’s easy to navigate between them.

Hi @Eniko Farkas

Happy to help with some potential recommendations and next steps. Could you describe what it is about your learning paths that make navigation difficult for the learner?

You might have already reviewed this article but I want to callout that you can when designing or editing the learning path, you can through the learning path layout edit the milestone widget to enable the accordion view where learners can expand or collapse the LP milestones. This makes navigation easier for the learner particularly if you have LPs with many milestones.

Navigation: Clicking Site > Site Builder > Layouts > Learning Path Layouts > Milestone Widget > Edit

I reviewed the option of using custom HTML to deep link to milestones within an LP with our technical team. They indicated this is not possible because when you design the LP there is one milestone widget whereby customization can be made but only for all the milestones within. You cannot edit a unique widget for each milestone which makes deep linking not possible.

If you would like further assistance exploring possible solutions to enhancing LP navigation for your learners, please reach out to your Account Manager or to us at success@thoughtindustries.com

Look forward to your thoughts!
Jeanne from your Scaled Success Team

Hi @Eniko Farkas

Just adding to my earlier response, our technical team did some investigating in the platform. It may be possible to add deep linking or anchors to milestones when editing the milestone name a description WYSIWYG box with the option of adding HTML. Through the wysiwyg in the milestone description, you can create the identifiers, "loc1" "loc2" etc in the HTML per milestone.

Hope this helps add to the possibilities,

Jeanne
