On a learner’s account from a managerial point of view, I’m under the Engagement tab and looking at the learner’s SCORM activity to decipher an issue. Can anyone confirm if the Course Version column relates to the version of the SCORM file within the CAM? In the screenshot I attached, a lot of the SCORM Activity has 1 for the Course Version, but all of those SCORM files have been updated in the CAM more than just one time, so they should be showing 2 or 3 like the one with 5 shows, right?

Hi @madelinefiretech! Thank you for your question AND the screenshot!

That column will show which version your learner took on that attempt. The learner could have started version 1 in one particular course and then still had access, so every attempt in that course is on version 1.

I hope this helps!

Thank you for that info, @DovKing! Just to be clear, by version, are you referring to the version within the CAM?

You’re SO welcome @madelinefiretech ! So sorry for not clarifying. This is representing the SCORM version. There is a version of the SCORM file on Rustici and that is represented in that column, so every time you replace a SCORM file the number will go up~ mind you, it does not have to come from the CAM ;)

@DovKing - is there a location where we can see the current version in the “courses” list?

We had a customer experience an issue with a version, and I’m trying to confirm if that’s the current version or not, but I don’t see the version number anywhere else beyond the SCORM activity feed.

Hey @NickStriegel  How’ve you been!?

Thanks for the question! Right now, the current SCORM version is only visible at the user level within the SCORM Activity. You can also manage versions using the Asset Library (formerly known as CAM).

To my knowledge, the SCORM version isn’t exposed anywhere else in the platform.

Best,

Dov (and the Team)

@NickStriegel Version control has been asked for I believe.  We put the version in the title of the SCORM V1, V1.5, V2.  I like it better sometimes.  1 is first iteration.  1.5 (half mark) indicates that changes were made but no a new version significant enough to retake.  V2 indicates users may need to retake this course.  Major overhaul.

If you are asking about version of SCORM literally, 2004 is Version 3, and 1.2 has no versions.  Hope this helps. @DovKing @madelinefiretech

For real detective work, I wouldn’t be in content reporting.  I would build a custom Look.
