I loaded 100 questions using a GIFT file into a question bank. I realized after uploading that I now need to separate those questions into 6 question banks to properly provide the cumulative exam in the proper way. Does anyone know if there is a way to move questions from one bank to another?  I can’t seem to find a way and I don’t want to have to make a bunch separate files and upload again.

Unfortunately, there isn’t currently a direct way to move questions from one question bank to another after they’ve been uploaded. This limitation is why I have recommended creating subfolders or predefined organizational structures within the system to make it easier to separate and manage questions effectively.

If subfolders aren’t an option yet, the only workaround I find out manually create smaller GIFT files for each group of questions and re-upload them into the appropriate question banks. I understand this can be time-consuming, but it ensures proper organization for your cumulative exams. Hopefully, a new  feature can be considered in the future to streamline the process.

Thanks. I numbered the questions in a way to easily move them to the different question banks manually. I think that's simpler than creating separate smaller GIFT files.

Hi @alarson2025

This would be a great feature to log as a Product Idea in THIS section of the Community so we can collect UpVotes and comments to ascertain the demand for the feature.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Warmest regards
