Hi All!

Has anyone encountered this request from a customer or learner before? One of our clients creates their own content and integrates custom audio files. Recently, they asked if there is a way to link an audio file to a specific Highlight Zone (this is possible for an Interactive Hot Spot Page).

They also noted that there are no built-in rules requiring learners to interact with a particular area first. While the intended flow is for learners to move from left to right, the application does not enforce a specific order of selection for these elements.

Has anyone found a solution or workaround for this scenario?

Any information or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi @chetler-findlay

Unfortunately there is no native way to guide the learner to choose hotspots in a set sequence.

You could do this via the HotSpot Challenge but that does not give you the option to have audio so I guess this is not a runner.

The only other options available would be to create the hotspot page with an external SCORM tool and add as a SCORM page, but you would need to know the SCORM tool can do this.

Lastly it could possibly be done via javascript / HTML but this would be a professional services engagement that we would need to scope and validate.

Lets see if any other clients have managed to find a way to facilitate your need, or let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

Kind regards

jon
