We’re looking to create a single live event product that includes two separate webinars, but we need each webinar to generate its own separate Zoom confirmation email upon registration.

A few key details:

  • We want the webinars to appear as two live event pages rather than a course format.
  • Ideally, the user registers once and gets access to both, but receives distinct Zoom confirmation emails.
  • We use our own eCommerce system, so we’re also considering how that factors in.
  • We have not used Learning Paths, but could this be a work around?

Has anyone successfully set up something similar in Thought Industries? Any creative workarounds or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

i am not aware of any native way to do this unless you use the “recurring event” option, but this is only useful if the two events are on at the same time either a day, week, month apart. Which is very limiting.

If you use a Learning path, the learner will have to enroll in both events to have the event registered in their calendar.

If you use sessions then the learner will be able to choose the two sessions to enroll in, but it will need to be two enrollments.

As all events in Ti have a separate webinar ID, each will need to be accepted separately, as I am not aware of a webinar profiver that facilitates accepting an invite for two events with one action.

Perhaps another client has found a clever way around this but with native functionality and my testing I cannot find a way to facilitate your need.

If we go ahead with recurring, there needs to be some sort of pattern with the timing, correct? Will learners receive two separate confirmation emails from Zoom or will it all be in one email? We are open to it being in the course format, as long as it is easy for folks to join. Thanks!

If you use the recurring event the learner will recieve one email invites that includes the details for all events in the sequence.

This is the ony way to be able to link more than one meeting in one invite unfortunately.
