Discover How INNIO Increased Participation in Certification and Recertification Exams

INNIO is utilizing Thought Industries to ensure that all Waukesha engine technicians are certified, aiming to increase the overall number of certified technicians. By enhancing the knowledge of end users, they seek to reduce the number of call outs and improve operational efficiency. Additionally, the certification process serves as a revenue-generating opportunity for INNIO, reinforcing their commitment to high-quality training and service within the industry.

A technician needs to have an annual subscription to content in order to be able to access the Certification Learning Path which needs to be taken annually. The learning path is a Pay-as-You-Go so the technicians can take the content in their own time and only pay when they need to take the Virtual Instructor-Led Training (vILT) elements of the learning path.

To access the Certification Learning Path, technicians must have an annual subscription to content, allowing them the flexibility to upskill at any time. The learning path includes both elective and required content, with Virtual Instructor-Led Trainings (vILTs) categorized as elective and chargeable. Technicians can attend these events by paying a fee for each session, ensuring that costs remain manageable and accessible, so no one is priced out of the certification process.

  • Panorama (Used for Subscription)
  • Learning Path (Used for Certification Path)
  • Pay-as-You-Go (Enables learners to purchase access to the events they are interested in)
  • Quizzes (Consists of 150 questions, with a required passing score of 80%)

INNIO configured key features by organizing all subscribed learners into a dedicated panorama, granting them exclusive access to the Certification Learning Path. This learning path operates on a "Pay-as-You-Go" model, allowing learners to access all self-paced content at no cost, while elective events incur a fee. This structure promotes accessibility to valuable resources while providing flexibility for users to choose their learning experiences.
