Get started by reviewing our orientation checklist below:
- Update your profile: Upload a custom avatar and update your profile information so other users get to know you better. You can click here to access your profile. You can edit your profile information only after you log in to the Community. Only logged in members can view each other's profiles and achievements in the community.
- Read the Community Guidelines: We want to create a safe space for all community members and our guidelines help foster a positive Community
- Set your notification preferences: By setting up your notification preferences, you can always stay up-to-date with your areas of interest in the Community. Within the platform, you have access to notifications by clicking on the bell icon in the top right. You can choose to get notifications via email on the categories and actions you are most interested in. To customize your email notifications, click on your profile icon in the top right, then click Settings. Go to the Notifications tab, as seen in the image below to set your notification preferences.
- Introduce Yourself: We want this Community to be just as much about making connections as it is about learning. Introduce yourself by telling us who you are and what brought you here. See our introduction posts here and get started with your own intro comment.
- Ask a Question: You can ask a question in the Community by clicking on "Ask & Answer" on the homepage. There are different categories so you can post based on topics and reach the right audience. Don't forget to tag your questions with the product or closest topic related to it! As the author of the question, you have the ability to mark a response as “Best Answer”, so that others having the same question can find your post quickly. Marking a response as “Best Answer”, also rewards and encourages other users, building a healthy and helpful community.
- Browse our Technical Resources: Our Thought Industries experts are constantly adding new technical resources to help you make the most of our platform. You can view our platform, partner, or academic resources here.
- Stay up-to-date: Get the most recent information about the community itself by subscribing to the Community News page.
