Does anyone have a good way to report on the date that a piece of content was released to your main site? I know we could manually switch the “start date” of the course to the day we release it but I was hoping to find a way to do it without a manual process. I’ve looked through all the reporting fields and don’t see anything related to the date something was released. Thanks!

Hi Andy, 

I needed to research this a bit myself. If you go to Reporting > Create > Content Catalog > What does my session catalog look like, you are working with the Content (Site) custom report. From there, under Find a Field, in the All Fields column, in Content Details find Status and add it as a filter. On the right hand side Filters (detail) box, scroll to Content Details Status, if you click in the status dropdown box, you will find Archived, Draft, Pending, Published. The status Published refers to those Released, Pending refers to scheduled for release but not yet released, Draft is not Released. 

If you then also add the filter Contents Details > Updated At and select date, in the filters box on the right select the time parameters. Between selecting the status and date, this report should give you a pretty good visualization of your released vs non-released content.
