We have some exciting news to share! On December 13, you’ll be able to preview some new design changes to the Administrator interface in the Thought Industries platform.
These changes modernize and simplify the Admin Console, making it easier for you to find the things you need, reduce clicks, and get your work done faster and more efficiently.
What is Coming?
New Navigation for the Admin Console, which includes:
- Modern, collapsible navigation that is more intuitive and requires fewer clicks
- Settings moved closer to their respective areas (e.g. Course Settings) for easier access
- Landing pages that better organize settings-heavy areas and describe their functional purpose
- Personal Color Modes to make your workspace uniquely you

We’ve also redesigned the homepage to surface important metrics through dashboards including:
- Executive Summary
- Revenue Summary (if utilizing eCommerce features)
- Content Usage
- Learner Usage
- Site Overview

When Are These Changes Coming?
The new design changes will be rolled out by the end of January. Below are the key dates you should be aware of:
- 12/1: Support Materials available for sneak peek. This includes documentation and an interactive prototype that outlines specific adjustments.
Link to Support Article sneak peek with prototype. - 12/13: Preview mode of the new navigation, with the ability to toggle the new Navigation and Home page on or off across your instance (note: toggle available to Site Admins only and is an instance-wide setting)
- 1/31: The new navigation and home page will become the new default for all users of the Admin Console and preview mode toggle will be removed
During this transition period you should be sure to update any support materials you may have for your internal Admins as well as external Panorama Admins to make sure it reflects the new changes. (Documentation and/or the preview mode can be used to capture any necessary screenshots in either sandbox or production environments.)
We encourage you to turn on the new navigation preview to allow your Admin Console users to get used to these changes, and prepare to assist with the transition to the default navigation before the hard switch-over on 1/31!!
