Navigating the Community

The Thought Industries Community is your go-to space for connecting, learning and sharing ideas with other Thought Industries users. Whether you want to explore topics, ask questions, or simply find out what’s going on in the community, it’s all designed to make things easier for you. Let’s explore how you can get the most out of the Thought Industries Community!

 

Homepage

The Community homepage is designed to help you quickly find the information and tools you need to succeed. We highly encourage you to sign in, as some pages (like Suggestions) are only available to logged in users. At the top of the homepage, you will find: 

  • Navigation Menu: Quickly switch between Community, Product Updates, Suggestions, and Upcoming Events. 
  • New Post: Share your questions and start conversations with the community members instantly.
  • Notification : Quickly see a list of all the new activity since your last visit.

Searching in the Community

The Community Search feature is a tool designed to streamline your search experience by helping find what you need quickly within the Thought Industries community. With this feature, users can search across multiple content types within the community —including questions, conversations, articles, product updates and best practice resources.

If you’re not finding what you want in the preview, you can hit enter and navigate to the search page. There you’ll find the results page where options from all over the Community will be available. On the results page, below the search bar, you'll see the results grouped by Category. You can click on a specific category tab to see more specific results and expanded previews. Once you’ve clicked on a category tab, you’ll also have the option to filter by tag to narrow it down.

The navigation menu in the Community serves as your main navigation hub. It’s designed to help you quickly find resources, connect with others, and stay updated. Here are different resources that you can easily access via the header menu:

  • Communities: Explore active topics, and find unanswered questions. This is the hub for asking questions and driving conversations.
  • Suggestions: Browse a list of all product suggestions or suggest your own feature to help us improve the product. Available only when logged in.
  • Product Updates: Stay informed about what’s new with the Thought Industries product, including monthly What’s New Recap videos and posts about past and upcoming changes to the product. 
  • Events: Browse and register for upcoming events like Office Hours, Webinars, Fireside Chats, etc.

 With these sections, everything you need is just a click away - let’s dive deeper into each section!

 

Communities

The Community section is your space to engage, learn, and connect. Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Community Overview: Jump quickly into each discussion Category, or dive straight into viewing the latest posts.
  • Recently Active Topics: Discover the latest questions asked in the community. Stay updated and join discussions in real-time.
  • Active Since Last Visit: Quickly catch up on topics that have been updated since your last visit. Never miss important updates! 
  • Unanswered Questions: Want to contribute? Find unanswered questions, which are essentially questions that do not have the “best answer” marked yet, giving you the perfect opportunity to lend your expertise to help fellow members.

Ideas

You can search through all the Ideas that have been submitted to date, as well as upvote or comment on existing Idea. The more information we have on each Idea the better we can determine the value it will add to the product! This page also gives you access to submit an idea for a feature enhancement or new feature for our team to review. We love to hear all your imaginative ideas!

Product Updates

The Product Updates section is packed with information from the Education team, showcasing the newest features, updates, and upcoming features within the Thought Industries platform. It’s designed to keep you informed about what’s new and help you take full advantage of the platform’s latest enhancements. Whether it’s improvements to existing features or brand-new functionality, this section ensures you’re always up to date and ready to unlock even more value with Thought Industries. 

 

Events

The events page provides a list of all upcoming, and past, events in chronological order. These events include Impactful Office Hours, Customer Forum Office Hours, Community Roundtables and Thought Leader webinars.

Clicking into the required event will provide you details of the event as well as the option to register, share or add to your calendar
