Summary - Cognition Wednesday
The Wednesday morning sessions of Cognition22 were packed to the top with the concept of “Building without Limits”. It was all about Helium, Thought Industries' new tools for a headless LMS. It’s another IYKYK situation. In combination with the No Code/Low Code solutions, there is no limit to what can be built for learners. It was really a mind-blown type of experience to listen to it all. Barry Kelly, Todd Boes, Chris McClelland and Michael Siegel gave us all a lot to think about, dream about, even. And then came Ryan Dillon’s Hot Takes Live! - Be careful if you ever get invited to the hot seat! Peter Scott of the American Pet Products Association and Katie Barr, at Haymarket US really emphasized the use of marketing to target monetization and scaling strategies as lessons learned during pandemic times. And they ate wings with HOT SAUCES. And survived.I sat in on the VR session - it was AMAZING to see how the team at the Damage Prevention Academy, led by Jay Stevens, have been able to
Summary - Cognition Tuesday
How energizing today was! Cognition22 opened with Robin Wadsworth building up the energy and focusing attention on the content for the day. Barry Kelly, as the visionary he is, talked about what learning everywhere can mean as we build our strategies without limits. And then he backed it up with people who do just that every day: Henry Schuck is the CEO of ZoomInfo, TI’s Overall Excellence award winner, and showed why as he spoke to the importance of customer education in his customer success and the role education played as they scaled to be REALLY BIG. This was followed by a great conversation with Zack Parnell, the CEO of ITI, another TI award winner. Zack showed us how this happened by talking through the way they’re launching new technologies into the learning everywhere scenarios. It was amazing to hear the progress they’ve made. Favorite quote: Henry Shuck said “ROI and CE go hand in hand”.And if you ever wanted to see how the maturity model really works, this was the day. Tom
Summary - Cognition Customer Day
What an exciting day. You know when you put in all of the effort and really want things to go well? And they do? It’s a great feeling! That’s today. We kicked off our Cognition22 events with a day dedicated to our customers. Back in those early days this year, I spent some time trying to figure out how to make this position my own. And it came down to celebrating our customers’ success. So Customer Day was born. The day started with an energizing welcome by Robin Wadsworth, our President, followed by some amazing measures of progress by our CEO and co-founder, Barry Kelly. I followed up the morning introduction with an update on our community, and all of the great things we have in store for the end of this year and the beginning of 2023. It was a great way to start the day.Special thanks to the moderators and speakers that were so generous with their time and knowledge - Amber Kleven, Dov King and Morgen Gallo presented great content on product, while Dave Derington and Tyler Foster w
