We need to have MS Teams as our choice for Webinars in TI , the problem is we have over 250 Instructors and we would need to authenticate these Instructors against the Teams integration section. We have recently found out that the TI - Teams connection from time to time needs to reconnect / re authenticate for each Instructor. This causes a problem for us as we need the Instructors to get into the system and do so, having a large number of Instructors is a big problem. Does anybody have the same issues and any workarounds.

Question - Will the upcoming new Site Builder 2.0 (from Cognition) have the ability to re-arrange content in a featured widget using manually entered content? Presently to change the order of the tiles in production, you have to re-create the Featured Content widget listing in the desired order.

Pop Up/Slide Out Notifications

Are we as Ti customers able to incorporate notifications on our own customers’ dashboards that are similar to what Ti uses to promote their new content/fixes (homepage pop-up) and Cognition registration (slide-out in the bottom corner of the homepage)? If yes, how do we go about that? Is it all CSS?Aside from Learner Notification emails, we want to use notifications that will appear while the learner is either on their dashboard or at check-out.

How do you use tags?

Hi TI Community, My organization would like to better organize our current content using tags. We are using TI for internal training (compliance training, role-specific training, and onboarding) and use content types like courses, articles, SCORM, VILT, and ILTs. We’d love to hear your examples/ideas since we are fairly new to utilizing TI and its tagging feature. What tagging strategy does your company/organization use? Tracking Attendance of VILT plus recording watchers

We are fairly new to Ti and have not yet fully set up my part of the organization into using it. However I am in the process of planning out certain things and one of these are ILT/VILT sessions we have with parts of the organization once per week. We host a live and virtual session (large conference room, joined via zoom, then remote learners join the zoom session). The presenter does their thing, and a team processes the recording then uploads into our current LMS (Docebo). We’ve been tasked with finding a way of tracking those that attended live versus those that watched the recording. Right now, the only way we can do it is to extract the participants list from Zoom and upload it into the course in Docebo, then mark them as complete. I’m curious if anyone already using Ti has something in place with similar metrics they are trying to track. If so, how are you doing it? How do you correlate “this video” or “this course” is equilivant to “this VILT” in Ti?

any way to allow customers to choose 2 options for catalog searching?

We have custom fields that allow multiple values - and sometimes this would help our customers narrow down their options when searching in the catalog. Right now when they choose a value, that custom field section disappears and they cannot choose a 2nd value. Am I missing some way to change this?Thank you!

Notifications

Has anyone used something to get learner notifications to be a “push” notification on a person’s device as opposed to an email? We have a youth product and am being told that the audience doesn’t use their email at all and want us to create something that would push a notification like an app does.

Questions about System Notifications to Learners settings

I have a few questions about the system notifications settings for admins. Are default notifications sent even if they’re not set up in the learner notifications area for specific courses or course groups? Or are emails only sent when the individual notification is created and a specific trigger is set? If a specific notification is disabled, does this mean individual emails set up in the learner notifications won’t be sent even though they’re set up to send based on triggers? How are course notifications emails classified in the system email activity report category? “Campaign” seems to be the only outlier category in the list of possible categories, but how could we determine whether an email sent was a “course starts next week” or “Course starts tomorrow” email.

SCORM & TI?

Hello!I was hoping to connect with someone who has a fully integrated SCORM learning program with TI. Some things I am hoping to learn:What content authoring tool do you use and why? Do you use standalone SCORM content or do you embed a SCORM page type within a native TI course? How is reporting? (more challenging? - if so how/why?) If you already had a fully functioning learning program up and running in TI (all natively designed) would you make the transition to SCORM content? Or leave it alone? How to Mark Learners as Attended in ILTs?

How is everyone marking learners as attended for ILTs?The only way I’m seeing is to manually select all attendees and change to attended for each meeting. This is a really tedious process for us when we have 30+ attendees for 3 meetings and we can’t doublecheck our work because there is an hour delay on all bulk functions? I’ve tried the bulk import but it just marks people as completed and doesn’t grant certificates or CEUs.Has anyone found a better way to do this?

Where are all of the places that the Course Group Title and Session Title appear?

I am trying to determine all of the places that a course group title and session title appear within the platform, e-mails, etc. I believe the course group title appears in the learner dashboard and I believe the session title appears in the certificate earned email, but other than those, I can’t see where else they would show up. If anyone has any additional information, it would be appreciated.

H1 Headers and Google Search Results

Hey! I’m looking into the back-end of our website (learning.firetech.com), we don’t have any H1 headers. I can’t seem to find where this can be changed and adjusted within TI. I have changed meta titles and descriptions but that isn’t helping our Google search results. Any help and advice would be appreciated!

How long are learners taking to finish a course or path?

I would love to see a report that shows the duration learners spend within a course or path. If I have goals to ensure courses don’t take learners longer than X hours, this would be extremely helpful to see if it’s too difficult, or if people are just skipping through content and therefore taking much less time than I intended.

ILT I Don't Get It. What are the meanings?

So in my four years with Ti, I have never built and ILT session, meeting, event, whatever it is. The reason for this is simple. COVID was happening and ILT was not. I am trying to make up for lost time and need to start creating ILTs right now but I do not understand the difference between the Event, Session, and I think that the meeting is the actual date and time? But then there is this root session that must also be a date and time. In short, it makes no sense to me and I am having trouble grasping the concepts. What is a container for what? I think the meeting is where the Learners go ultimately. Can anyone put this in simple terms? The documentation could use a pictogram for how all of these parts fit to make a something people go to.

Updating SCORM using CAM

I have been poking around trying to find the answer to this question but could not really decipher what the answer is. When we update a SCORM in the CAM, the option asks “Revert progress and display changes for all learners”. In this instance, if we revert progress, will the courses that this SCORM file lives in also revert to being not complete or just the SCORM itself? We have courses where this SCORM lives and while we made updates that we want to show for any users who return to the SCORM, we don’t necessarily want to mark them as not having completed it, so just wanted to see how this should actually work.

Enrollment dates vs Scheduled release

Does anyone know if there is any functional different between setting Content Enrollment dates vs a Scheduled Release? or if changing the date for either of these causes any issues?I’m struggling to find any documentation on it. Maybe in an office hours somewhere?Thanks-
