Session four of our content authoring series, Assessments, proved to be a very popular topic this week in our Office Hours, with specific focus on Quiz, Test and Survey pages.Phil put a lot of focus on the key considerations to take into account before building out your assessments to help determine the best approach. During the peer to peer session there was a question about Video assessment, which can be achieved via our Assignment upload feature, or if you want AI graded functionality we have a native integration with Bongo, which is proving to be very popular among our clients. Do you have any assessment efficiency guides or tips, or even clever configurations you would like to share with the community? If so please comment below, we would love to hear them. 

Folks, I need help.  I got a guy who wants his page to have a gradient background and I have never been able to get custom scripts to do anything functional and sometimes it doesn’t like the script so won’t save it.  I put this in there as an example to share and it does absolutely nothing.  Thoughts? Suggestions?  There is not a single page of documentation on this, and I have not in nearly 6 years heard of anyone pulling anything off with this option on a custom page, but I do see people with page backgrounds.  Help plz. 

We need a solution to allow courses to be marketed prior to being purchasable. These would be released to the catalog and ecommerce settings would be set to ‘not available for purchase.’ In the past, in lieu of Enroll Now button, TI had the ability to show an waitlist email capture form on courses not available for purchase. However now it only shows the ENROLL NOW button that starts the checkout page process. The first page of the checkout shows item in basket. The final checkout page shows nothing in the cart (as the content is not purchasable). This is a confusing experience for users. How...

We have a client asking for the ability to set up Scheduled Reports. From my research, it is my understanding that that feature is currently not available in the first version of Panorama Reporting.Is there a timeline or estimate on when this option may be on the product roadmap? Thank you! 

Hi All!Has anyone encountered this request from a customer or learner before? One of our clients creates their own content and integrates custom audio files. Recently, they asked if there is a way to link an audio file to a specific Highlight Zone (this is possible for an Interactive Hot Spot Page).They also noted that there are no built-in rules requiring learners to interact with a particular area first. While the intended flow is for learners to move from left to right, the application does not enforce a specific order of selection for these elements.Has anyone found a solution or workaround for this scenario?Any information or feedback would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance!

Please share the tips and tricks you’ve learned that make your life as an admin easier! I’ll start with this simple one. I changed my sandbox mode to pink so it stands out as very different from our production environment, which is blue. This drastic color difference makes it easy for me to tell which environment I’m in at a glance.  

Is there a way to find content items that have changes that are not yet published? Mainly thinking of cases where someone thinks they published but didn’t. We have a mix of content that we Release and some that we never Release (for panoramas). I need a way to get a list of any content that has unpublished edits.

Hello everyone, We are currently using TI for our online certification exam for our customers but we require more functionalities so we are looking at other platforms or test engines that can deliver our requirements. Can anyone recommend third party companies that you heard have been integrated to TI for running tests/exams and certifications? I heard Alchemer is in the pipeline. Anyone has worked with Qualtrics? Question Mark?  Appreciate if you can recommend any other companies based on your experience (successfully integrated with TI)

Hi All, I am currently looking at how we can have a piece of content specifically SCORM marked as complete when another piece of content is completed, a kind of If this then that (ITTT).For example, we have a SCORM package in the asset library, and it's used in two courses, Course A and Course B, but maybe for different reasons, so maybe Course B is more advanced and has more content included on additional pages of the course, So someone completes Course B, and so because they have gone through that SCORM Package, Course A is now redundant to them and so that too should be marked as complete for them as the content adds no other value if they were to start it.I reached out to TI a while back, One of the platform SCORM experts, said, the SCORM package in Course A will be marked completed when launched. If that is the only content in Course A, then the entire Course A will be marked as complete when the student who already completed Course B starts Course A. If there is other content in

I'm losing my mind. All of our users have extreme difficulty dealing with TI's native OOTB course content because their navigation sucks. It's super easy to skip important content, it's hard to know what content you've skipped, it's causing endless support tickets.Okay, fine, we have new content creation software, we will build everything in there (with proper navigation) and just build SCORM courses instead. We've started doing this, and support tickets are going down for those courses. Great! As long as we are creating a net new SCORM course, everything works fine.Now, we want to go back through our backlog of TI-created content and replace it with SCORM files. If we create net new courses, we lose all of the configuration stuff and have to redo it (catalog settings, etc) and we also lose the data associated with the old version of the course - registrations, completions, etc. A lot of these courses are embedded within learning paths, so creating a whole new course and inserting it i

Need help with header dashboard in the panorama. We have global settings for all panorama’s and I want to make adjustments to the header banner. Currently it overlaps with the background and I would like for the header in the dashboard to be aligned with the main container. This is a screenshot of how it is currently.  The CSS code that we currently have is not changing the alignment of the header banner only the background color and text color. Existing CSS code:.header--microsite,.header--dashboard {  background-color: #000000;  color: #fff;  padding-top: 11px;}In our sandbox, the header banner is aligned which is what I would like for the production site. There is no CSS codes in the Sandbox so unable to see what CSS code was used.Does anyone know the CSS code on how to align the header dashboard? Is anyone using TI to provide their trainers with the most up to date slide decks, or are you handling this outside of TI?

I’d like to set up a page with just a calendar list of our upcoming VILT sessions and I can do that, however, I’d also like to remove the View Details option and just display the date and time and title of the sessions. This is for our internal team to see our upcoming trainings, but I don’t want anyone to be able to click View Details or to try to register via that page. Any ideas on how I can remove the View Details option from the Catalog widget? 

When learners request reasonable accommodations for assessments / testing for reasons related to accessibility / learning diversity, how are you going about making this change for the individual learner?For example, our assessments usually have a one hour time limit, but a learner has requested an extended time limit as they are dyslexic. In the past (and with a previous LMS) we´d create a different version of the course / exam with an extended time limit for the learner, but I´m trying to avoid this in TI if at all possible. However, I don´t see any way to adjust this at the user-level. How are you handling similar requests? 

Hello there,we upload recordings of sessions and webinars, normally uploading the file into a course within a Video page.It’s usually fine, but we noticed that some of the videos display a "Mark as Watched” option on the top right of the video widget. I checked multiple times the settings and they are the same as other videos.I could not find any information on TI help pages and videos, and I can’t find the way to remove that option. Anyone knows where it comes from and how I can deactivate it from the course?Thanks 

Hi all, I know this should be a no-brainer, so sorry about asking a simple questions. I am trying to use a Featured Content Widget to dynamically show only the content the learner is enrolled in. And I don’t know the Type:Value combination to get that to show.  I don’t seem to be able to find a list of Type elements for TI.Thanks for the help.Joe

Hi everyone,I’m curious if any of you are using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to track page views on your Thought Industries platform. If so, I’d love to hear your experiences. Are you finding that GA4 is accurately capturing your site traffic and page views?Also, if you’re using GA4, how did you go about setting up the tracking scripts in Thought Industries? Hi to the world of TI experts.I am working on building a learning path with microlearning and VILT events. Now I want to hand over the instance to a client admin to continually add sessions to the “existing” vilt events, so they show up in the calendars.  The only role I have seen that has this ability is a full admin - even customizing that role eliminates the ability to add a session…Notice the “Create Session” ability.Admin View:  Other views (either a customized Admin or a panorama specific view  What role permission is required for the “Create Session” to appear in the Client View.Thanks!Joe Czarnecki

Does TI comply with FERPA requirements for schools and youth data?

Hi All -Does anyone know if there is a way to export a download a comprehensive list of all of our courses? We would like to update our marketing materials and to date the only way I have done so was manual. Now that we have 400 + courses and counting, it's a little more tedious! Thank you!
