Good day all.  We use assignments a lot to say the least.  One thing we don’t care for is the view of comments just before the actual type or attach assignment.  Please vote this up as we have never found a use for comments and most users complain that they just start typing only to copy paste into type assignment.  Here is what it looks like by default and we want no comments ever. 

Currently Recertify in Current Session is only available for course certifications. It is not available for Learning Paths. Our certifications are at the Learning Path level. That is where we would like to see the setting for Recertify in Current Session.

Does anyone have a user guide that they created to show their managers and/or instructors how to use the system?  We are having a great deal of difficulty trying to create these.  If anyone has one they would be willing to share, we will not divulge any confidential information.  We just need some help. Thanks in advance.

How do you build out your long learning paths? We have some that require 20+ pieces of content, so we’re looking to make them into a list view. When we do that any thumbnails are still brought into that view, which makes it still long. The only way to make this manageable is to remove the thumbnails to all the individual pieces of content, but then the beauty of that timeline view and any imagery is gone. Has anyone come up with a way of building out a loooong LP while still maintaining a visual page?

Has anyone in the Thought Industries LX community integrated their courses with Workday Learning?  How have you accomplished this?

I’m wondering if anyone has had success integrating an Alchemer survey into a course? We can link to the survey easily enough, and the learner can take the survey. The problem is that taking the survey is a completion criteria for CE credit for the course. After completing the survey, TI does not record the course as complete in the learner record. Whether it’s an issue with what Alchemer is sending or what TI is receiving, we don’t know. We’ve tried to get help from Support and through the Development team, with no luck at all. I’d love to see if others are having success with Alchemer this way.

Our team wants to sort our courses in a catalog widget in a specific order. We’ve come up with custom course codes that can group the content together within the catalog and sort using title, but we are not a fan of using the codes. Crowd sourcing any ideas on how other teams are custom sorting their courses in the catalog widget. Thanks!

Is there anything that can be done when a user encounters the following message:"An embedded Page @scorm.thoughtindustries.com says A FATAL ERROR HAS OCCURED, COMMUNICATIONS HAS BEEN LOST".I’m aware that this may be an Amazon web services issue, but we’re having customers complaining about getting this message, and we don’t have an answer for them other than to wait.

I’d love to see a report that shows me how each course is rated. I’m beginning to think that the ratings at the end of each course aren’t actually attached to the course.  

In the CAM, our files our titled with a file number and then the title of the lesson. For example, one file name is “SS 102.01 2022 - Introduction”. I find that when I type this exact name of the file into the search bar, I get no results. When I used the first part (SS 102.01 2022) I get a whole slew of results that start with “SS”, so then I have to search for that specific file amongst the others.My question is what is the search bar pulling from when keywords are typed in? What do I need to type specifically into the search bar so it’ll turn out just the “SS 102.01 2022 - Introduction” file and nothing else?I have attached screenshots for proof of these search results:Exact title searchBeginning of title search 

Do you change the names of your courses when you update them? like adding v1, v2, etc. Just trying to decide what is the best way to manage this as we make some edits.Thanks for your input!  

Hello,I am using several test users to test functionalities in the platform.I assigned a dual role to one of my test accounts, and now I want to remove that dual role (So I want the test account to show into the learner bucket, not into one of the admins roles buckets).I tried choosing the  “Learner” role from the drop down menu, but I get an error message.Is there a way for me to move delete the dual role feature from the account or move the account back to only be a learner and not having a dual role?Thanks 

Hey everyone! For one of our SCORM file-based courses, we noticed an error, where the wrong SCORM file from the CAM was selected for a Page. To fix this issue, we replaced the wrong SCORM file with the correct SCORM file using the red Replace File button and selecting the appropriate file from the CAM dropdown menu. Once this change was made, we clicked on the green publish button. As it is for any changes made in the Question Library, I thought this change would appear automatically for any users that were currently enrolled in the course. However, that was not the case as the current user still had the previously incorrect SCORM file showing in that course despite the replacement.Is this standard when it comes to the Replace File button, so the change is only visible to future users? I thought clicking the Publish button made any updates visible to ALL users (current and future).

In reporting hub - can anyone confirm for me if the number in the “Assessments Total Time Elapsed” is shown in seconds? Thanks!

For gamification, is it possible to share any badges earned on LinkedIn like learners can with their certificates? Or does anyone have an approach or workaround to doing so?

Hi,Has anyone managed to programmatically create a course?Looking through the API documentation, I could not see any endpoints to ‘create’ content. Our Instructional Designers create content in Google Slides. Which can be exported to SVG file format.The idea was to prepare a Google Colab that would export the Google Slides to SVG, prepare a SVG to Course mapping JSON file. (so we know which SVG goes to which section, lesson and page) Then create the Course Group, Course, Section, Lesson, Page(s).We could go further to add mp3 audio to the Page via one of the TTS services.However the idea seems to be dead in the water right now. :noo: :sad: ThanksDanny

If you make a custom panorama admin role - are they not allowed to access tagging on the catalog design section nor able to make content free with registration?

If on a Mac, you should be using Chrome (this includes all Apple products) No VPN (Virtual Private Network) common in countries outside of the USIf you know of others or a good link to send to users/learners from Ti please share it here.  Thanks team.

Hi, does anyone else have an issue with the name not being centered on the certificate that is visible in a user transcript? But when creating the certificate, the placement of the name field is centered. Am I doing something wrong?Name field added under “manage certificates”  

Hi All,Curious regarding your content you are creating for your learners. Does anyone who may have training courses on their product, do you make these courses interactive? Meaning the learner “performs the task” within your course as if they were doing so within the application or platform? If so, how are you managing this?We recently received some feedback that our learners would like hands-on, pretending to do the task. Any information or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!Courtney

Hi, Does anyone currently use the system to enroll learners into content by tenure or hire date? We’re looking to assign content to learners 30 days after they have been hired. Any ideas on how your team is currently doing something similar? 

Hello TI Community!I have a question related to webinar integrations.We plan to make use of various TI webinar integrations (primarily Zoom, Adobe Connect and hopefully MS Teams).  One thing we are struggling with is around how to prevent the webinar links from being shared beyond our approved attendees.   When someone registers and receives the event confirmation/ calendar link email from TI they contain direct links to the webinar room and theoretically these could be forwarded to other people (who aren’t approved/registered users) which would enable them to gain access to the session. Sometimes we have 500+ attendees so we can’t necessarily implement the features some webinar platforms have where you can place all attendees in a waiting room and admit them manually.Has anyone identified any workable options to manage this?Many thanks,Caroline @ Mastercard Academy

When setting up a learner notification using the type “Content/Learning Path(s)” Notification type -I want all content included from 1 specific Content Type (Online courses) - is there any way to choose all of those courses easily?Currently when we click “all content” - it is including our ILT (in-person event) learners as well, and the emails that go to online course learners do not match what our in-person learners should be getting.I’m hoping that I’m missing something obvious - Thanks for any assistance! 

Hi I was wondering is anybody is looking at using Helium for there Thought Industries Deployment? I have been engaged with Thought Industries as to how I may be able to use Helium to develop our Catalog and several other pages or content types, this is going to be a project that will take some time to achieve, and may even result in sticking with our current setup, and so I am keen to know if others here our considering it? and if so, how are you considering its use?
