Featured Content Widget

Question - Will the upcoming new Site Builder 2.0 (from Cognition) have the ability to re-arrange content in a featured widget using manually entered content? Presently to change the order of the tiles in production, you have to re-create the Featured Content widget listing in the desired order.

Pop Up/Slide Out Notifications

Are we as Ti customers able to incorporate notifications on our own customers’ dashboards that are similar to what Ti uses to promote their new content/fixes (homepage pop-up) and Cognition registration (slide-out in the bottom corner of the homepage)? If yes, how do we go about that? Is it all CSS?Aside from Learner Notification emails, we want to use notifications that will appear while the learner is either on their dashboard or at check-out.

H1 Headers and Google Search Results

Hey! I’m looking into the back-end of our website (learning.firetech.com), we don’t have any H1 headers. I can’t seem to find where this can be changed and adjusted within TI. I have changed meta titles and descriptions but that isn’t helping our Google search results. Any help and advice would be appreciated!

I have created HTML & CSS for callout notifications to our learners. However, the Ribbons are overlaying on the HTML image. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to adjust the placement so the ribbon appears behind the callout?

Remove gifting option

Hi!Has anyone been able to remove the gifting option from a specific content type or individual piece of content? We know we can’t turn it off, but I thought we could just remove that block of text possibly.If so, can you guide me in how to do this?Thank you!

Multiday Events - Learner Notifications

Hey all,We seem to be having an issue with learner notifications and multiday events. We are trying to send reminder emails out 2 weeks, 1 week, and 1 day before the start of the session. Because there are 3 meetings in this session, our attendees end up getting 9 reminder emails + confirmation + follow up. Obviously this is too many emails, so we are looking into how to cut back on the number. We use pre/post learning which means that the session start date is set way before the actual meeting because we need people to access content and information ahead of time.Has anyone found a way to set up learner notifications for a course group that send based on the first meeting date in the session?

Use of Custom CSS in widgets - Affecting all content even when the widget is not there?

Hello, I am trying to use a CSS code to modify a video widget in a specific dashboard layout. I used the CSS class names provided by TI. In sandbox it worked and I got the look i wanted, but once I moved the code in production I noticed that it was affecting all the videos, and I was not even used in a widget.My understandig of how we can use CSS to modify a widget is that you can create it in Design>Theme> Custom Code leave it there, and then use the classes you need in the widgets you want.I tried to use my own CSS classes (because I thought that maybe the ones provided by TI were used in TI code already) but they would not work.Am I missing something? is there anyone that had the same or similar issues with Custom Code and can suggest a solution or best practice?Thank you!Irene

Email formatting

We have our invitation emails formatted with our logo and a banner across the bottom. On most emails, it appears properly, but some of our users get a huge version of the images….like the social media icons are the size of the screen. Anyone else experience this and if so, what are some options for us to make sure everyone is getting the properly formatted sizing on the email? Thanks!

I’m hoping someone has worked with ecommerce products and knows where the “modal” description shows up. I know for sure it shows up in a collection detail page, but wasn’t sure if it shows up anywhere else?Thanks-

Anyone else getting random Ti ads in the admin interface?

They've been showing up on our Content and Registration code pages so far that we have seen! We are absolutely not interested in seeing Ti ads when we’re trying to do work.Just to explain a bit, they’re breaking up our data lists on these pages - data, then ad, then back to our data. It just seems a bit obnoxious to me for Ti to do this - wondering what you all think? Or if no one else has seen these, maybe it’s a bug in our site only??

Workaround for the broken hex code box

As I’m sure most of us have figured out by now, we are unable to type a hex code box without it auto filling with the wrong hex code and then deleting when we try to fix it. We currently type out the hex code somewhere else and then copy it over. Seems to work well. Just annoying. Has anyone come up with any other solutions?

With the limitations to adding live events to grid and list views of the catalog and the limitations to adding on demand courses to the calendar view, we were wondering how other groups are setting up their catalog.How do you set up your catalog page when you have a mix of live and on demand events?

When are your learner notifications sending

Hey all,We have been discovering that learner notifications send out in a roughly 3 hour window before and after midnight UTC. For us, this means our emails send out after people have already left work.Has anyone found any creative solutions to get your learner notifications to send at a reasonable time?
